North Norfolk LGBT Conference 4 February 2010

The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness of the needs of LGBT people in
North Norfolk and the issues that they face and the provisions that need to be considered as members of the community. The programme will be facilitated by members of the various LGBT groups that provide services within
Norfolk and will give delegates an opportunity to discuss issues and increase their knowledge.
Aims of workshop/conference
- To gain knowledge of legislation and responsibilities towards sexuality issues within the Equality Bill
- To explore issues relating to LGBT people both locally and generally
- To gain information about local services, criteria for referral etc.
- To gain more personal understanding of LGBT issues in respect of marginalisation and prejudice.
