GLO's are experienced police officers that are specifically trained to deal with homophobic incidents and other matters relating to the gay community.
Apart from ensuring that victims of homophobic incidents are dealt with fairly and without prejudice to their sexuality, they also play a crucial role in supporting victims through the process thus improving confidence by members of the gay community.
Within Norfolk Constabulary they also help advise other colleagues about sexuality issues and assist them to deal with their own enquiries.
To speak with a GLO ring the Constabulary on 0845 456 4567.
